Windows
XP
- At
the desktop, double-click on My Computer then double-click
on Control Panel.
- Double click on Network
and Dial-up Connections.
- Click on Dial-up Connection
and click on Properties.
- Click on the General
tab.
- Enter the new 10 digit access number in the Phone Number
box and enter OK.
On the General tab, uncheck Use Dialing
Rules. Put the new 10 digit access number in the telephone
number field. Then click OK
Windows
2000
- At
the desktop, double-click on My Computer then double-click
on Control Panel.
- Double click on Network
and Dial-up Connections.
- Click on Dial-up Connection
and click on Properties.
- Click on the General
tab.
- Enter the new 10 digit access number in the Phone Number

Windows
98 and Windows 95
- At the desktop double-click on My Computer then
double-click on Dial Up Networking.

In Dial Up Networking, click on the Online Gateway icon.
- Click on
File, then click Properties.
On the General tab, uncheck Use Area Code and Dialing
Properties. Put the 10 digit access number in the telephone number
field then click OK.
Macintosh
- Double click on the Harddrive icon.
- Double
click on the Free PPP Setup
- In the Free PPP Setup, go to the Accounts
Tab and click on the Edit button.
- You can then change the number to the 10 Digit access number. Then click
OK.
